Driver/Rider Training
Tailem Bend Motorsport Park hosts a variety Companies who provide Advanced Driver/Rider and Educational programs.
CAMS - Junior Development Program - Tarmac
Calling all 12 - 19 year olds
The aim is to introduce kids to motorsport and make them aware that there is a safe and controlled environment to drive fast, and it is not our public roads.
The program in which SAMROA has been instrumental, is run over 4 days.
- The 2011 dates are:
- August the 27th
- September the 24th
- October the 29th
- November the 12th
Each day has a classroom, workshop and one on one driver training component, comprising of the following:
- Learn about the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport, and what they do for motorsport.
- How to prepare yourself to enter a motorsport event.
- Presentation from the SA Police about road safety
- Presentation from V-Tech Automotive and their 'lemmon' car.
- Learn the differeance between a road and a race car.
